Tips To Grow With This New Moon

Wow – it is November and we are staring in the face of a powerful super new moon later this week, this occurs with the Moon at or near its closest approach to Earth be aware that this often brings volatile weather and emotional extremes. Face the raw truth of who you are and what you feel. Time to tell your new story – the one you are birthing from your soul seeds, dream the new dream, weave your life the way you wish it to be.

My task as your shamanic guide is to enable you to experience your unique spiritual connection to mother earth.

Because when you have that connection you will receive the answers you are looking for from Mother Earth even before you have asked the question. You become you own guide.

Trust your heart, trust your inner voice, trust your calling and things will start falling in place for you

I Am My Breath

Try resting your mind on a single point or object of focus this new moon. If you are new to meditation, start with 5 minutes per day.

  • Sit comfortably with a small candle before you.
  • Gaze softly at the candle, see that your awareness is like the flame, flickering here and there.
  • Invite your mind to be the observer as you focus on your in-breath.
  • Find the space at the top of the breath where the lungs are comfortably full.
  • Pause there for a few seconds  saying “I am…
  • Exhale, notice how your breath stirs the flame ever so slightly. Release all the air in your lungs
  • Pause there for a few seconds and say “…My breath.

Continue this breath meditation for about five minutes. As you become more confident you will increase the duration of your inhalation and your exhalation.

This month, especially with this new moon spend some valuable time consciously breathing, meditating and strengthening your immunity and de-stressing. Let go of your imagined limits and set yourself free.
