Radiant Sun Spiritual Practice
We all need help maintaining our spiritual practice. Daily meditations, mantras, shamanic journeying, prayers and mindful awareness exercises like yoga can be part of bringing spirituality alive in your life.
Wild Times Ahead
We live in a profound time; our world is seemingly chaotic, as we cannot affect the big news before our eyes. It is all so different from before. It is essential that we collectively support each other. We take the time to tend our heart space – the grow peace and light within. You can achieve this by looking inside, slowing down, and consciously entering your heart space. Once there, send an energetic frequency of love outwards to all who call Earth home.
"Ours is not the task of fixing the entire world all at once, but of stretching out to mend the part of the world that is within our reach." Clarissa Pinkola Estes
Heart Opening Practices
A simple spiritual practice in re-centre is to greet the morning sun. Sun salutations in yoga, for example, is an ancient and vital ritual for balancing one’s mind towards gratitude, peace and acceptance of the natural cycles of life. Likewise, consciously tuning in to your innate nature every morning helps you stabilise and ground in truth and wisdom.
Our Sun is sacred and has a consciousness of its own, and holds the capacity to mirror your brilliance to you through its rays by radiating a pure consciousness imprint directly into your heart and through the cells of your entire physical body. So I like to open my heart to the Sun’s rays first up in the morning (before it gets too hot here locally).
This daily sunbath brings an expanded space of radiant light flowing through the doorway of your heart.
Another simple practice – bring your awareness towards the Sun while holding and interacting through your heart. Place your hands over your heart, engaging with the spiritual practice of conscious breathing to connect. Then, open your arms up and out wide to greet the Sun.
Feel the radiance pouring into you. Our heart is an anchor, our sacred core. The heart communicates our holy existence with Great Spirit. All universal experience evolves and arises from within your heart.
There will always be difficult times in our lives when we feel discouraged. I, too, have felt despair, however, I do not keep a chair for it to eat at my table. I will not entertain it.
“The spiritual journey is individual, highly personal. It can't be organized or regulated. It isn't true that everyone should follow one path. Listen to your own truth.”-- Ram Dassspiritual
