Do Your Inner Work

New Moon blessings everyone, rest, this is a great time for our inner work to set intentions. Allow this potent new lunar cycle to help you align with your soul, reboot your heart and make a fresh start.

We find ourselves racing through 2021. It is time to boost our spiritual immunity through practices that enable us to see and transform our lives in meaningful, lasting ways

New Moon Time Is Today

This new moon is a great time to transmute negative energies created by a lack of awareness, understanding, and unwise thoughts and words.

When we do inner work, we are shining the light of awareness onto our inner landscape. This is composed of the various layers of our mind: the conscious, subconscious, and unconscious realms.

Cultivate compassion, resilience, and a state of wellbeing as you steadfastly move forward so you can stay grounded and open-hearted under the challenging times of year two of Covid.

“True initiation is a response to an inner calling; it requires that you face personal challenges heroically and experience a genuine rebirth into a new way of being.”  Alberto Villoldo, Ph.D,

Three Practices To Consider

Self-Love – is the acceptance, respect and forgiveness for who you are. Inner work is a great gift to look at the beautiful and ugly traits or parts included. Try mirror work – it is very effective. Look at your eyes and body – what do you see?

Inner Child Work –  try embracing, healing, contacting your inner child. Our inner child represents our first original self that entered into this world. Looking at it contains your capacity to experience wonder, joy, innocence, sensitivity, and playfulness.

Shadow Work – exploring your inner darkness; we all have it a “Shadow Self.” It is part of our unconscious mind. It contains everything we feel ashamed of feeling and thinking along with every impulse, repressed idea, fear or desire that we have decided to “lock away” unconsciously or consciously for one reason or another. Often this is done for protection or as a way of keeping ourselves likable in the eyes of others.

Here is a mantra for you:

Mantra: “Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya”

Meaning: I bow down to the Lord who resides in the hearts of all beings.

I am on track now with my new course to assist us all with our inner work. It is tentatively called “The Shamanic 13 Moon Guided Pathway – Reclaiming Your Life” or “Reclaiming Witchcraft – The 13 Moon Guided Pathway”. My grandmother taught me that as a witch, we were “walkers between the worlds”. I used to find this funny because my surname was Walker! When I came across Shamanism – I was taken straight back into the arms of the Goddess. Back to my foundations. What we call Shamanism and Witchcraft are not mutually exclusive – they both come from the times when we all freely journeying into the realms of Spirit.
